Raw Diet: Muscle Up

Some claim that when one changes their diet and conform to a healthier lifestyle they relieve their bodies of toxins. Once those toxins are purged from the body whether it be from fat or muscle then the body begins to take on it's true form and ideal size of the individual which is typically much smaller than before.


There is one thing that many may not be aware of when they go raw, especially those who go raw to lose weight. You will lose muscle mass when you go on a raw food diet. After you've shed unwanted weight (fat), and your weight loss is still spiraling rapidly take a good look in the mirror and evaluate your lifestyle. The loss typically is not entirely contributed to the raw food diet, but a sedentary lifestyle. If you don't workout those muscles they become flabby-regardless of diet. I mean look at Arnold Schwarzenegger, he's all flabby now but he can "pump up" for a movie in a flash.

So, the loss of muscle on the raw food diet is not necessary a bad thing. Nor is it a whole lot of muscle. As you will realize, you're still just as strong as you ever were-just a lot leaner taking on a Bruce Lee or Anjelina Jolie body. However, if you do not to exercise or eat properly, you will lose even more muscle because you're not using them and they will just waste away until they're so weak that  it becomes a serious health issue.
